People say the pin is so small they constantly break. What’s your experience. I’d give their universal decapping die a try. Is your lapua the .059 hole? Not sure why Redding would get garbage reviews but I use their decapping set for all my brass including 6.5 Creedmoor
Wilson dies have 1.5 mm decapper rodnow that I am settled on Lapua brass for my 6.5cm. I see it has a 1.5mm flash hole. Problem, does not seem like anybody makes a decapping rod to fit except Redding. Unfortunately reviews say the Redding is garbage? What’s everyone else using
Thanks
Man Dusty, just when I think you have thought me everything.... I’m gonna owe you consultation feesLook no further

Why not just let your sizing die do it though? Simplify the process
A drill press, a sizing die, 1" micrometer, Emory cloth and polish the pin to 0.059". Go slow and should take about 15 minutes.
Worked for me too.Mighty armory dies are highly recommended, with their small flash hole pin.
An alternative cheap-o option is to get a Lee Universal decapping die, put the pin in a cordless drill and then use a hand file to take it down to the proper diameter so it fits in the small flash hole. Have done it with several Lee dies and it has worked well.
I use the RCBS decap die .22-.25 cal part # 87580. I just chucked up the pins in a drill and sanded down the .069 pins until they are .058. Has worked flawlessly.now that I am settled on Lapua brass for my 6.5cm. I see it has a 1.5mm flash hole. Problem, does not seem like anybody makes a decapping rod to fit except Redding. The Lapua flash holes are drilled, not punched. So there is no need to use a deburr tool in them, and in fact, use of such a tool waas tested on this site some time ago, and found to be counter-productive. So, I have always used a Redding Universal decapping die and ordered 2 of the optional decapping shafts of the smaller od, so that the large od pin does not damage the Lapuas' flash hole. What’s everyone else using
