First I want to say a big Thank You to Troy for helping us out on the Benchrest side of things. We will have Prone and F Class matches starting as soon as we can finish the range. It has rained about every day this month and slowed us down again. We will run prone/f class matches on either the 1st or 3rd weekend of the month. Some will be 600yds, but most will be 1000yd with some Palma, fullbore and 300meter matches mixed in. I am working on the schedule so as not to conflict with other great ranges nearby.
The range is now cleared the entire length. See pics. We just need it to dry out a little. There is about 2 weeks of site work left, but it must be dry. We have 50 etargets onsite and 25 more ready to ship. We should be up and running by February at the latest if it stops raining. Do you see the trend here? We have had the most rain in 15 years here and we have moved approximately 180,000yds of dirt so far. I will update again soon.
Kyre,Matt,
At any point do you see camping facilities (water, electricity, sewage hook-ups) on the range for the weekend matches?
My family loves to camp and I happen to be within driving distance to your range.
Thanks.
You might check out the camping at Fall Creek Falls too until DZ is up and running.. Very pretty part of the country up there..Matt,

We actually have the first Saturday in January and February slated for fun play days, weather dependent of course. These Will not be matches, more of a test run to make sure everything is in order for the upcoming season. This is really good stuff here! I've been keeping my eye on this thread for a while and excited about what I've read on your range. I hope the weather cooperates with you guys a bit better. If you get a few targets rolling at 1000 by end of January I'd be willing to come help you test them and get a little practice in before the SWN in FebI bet you'd get a good turn out for a "fun/test" match that time frame for the above reason if you need folks to help with a test run....iron out the wrinkles kind of day. Just a suggestion.

Don't see any relief in sight.. I'm tired of the rain.. Wish it would just snow.Started to get the wife and come over that way today..I know F class is in the plans but I will have to defer on the details for that. This rain has to stop before anything can be finished, it’s so close.
The plan WAS 100 to 1000 on the play days. The ground is so rotten I am worried about the March matches now.Dang Troy.... I know what you mean... Almost 4" of rain from last night to this morning.. When you do get to shoot what yardage are you going to try to shoot??
