Dead Zero GBA 1000 Benchrest June 6th.

When you guys gonna start the 600 yard matches?
I think there is the possibility of a “fun” 600 match maybe in late summer or fall, right now we are just focused on getting the matches we have scheduled back on track and a couple of needed upgrades done to the range. Thanks

Way Inn, Spencer (931)946-2800 $69-$79 range. (Very limited food sources)
Mountain Inn,Dunlap (423)949-2184 $89-$99 range (several food choices)
Those are normal rates and I am working on getting better rates so mention Dead Zero just in case.

Me and lil man had a great time also. I learned alot from the experienced shooters at this match since it was mine and Bryce's first 1000 yd BR match. I'd like to thank Troy and Elaine for making this match happen and pushing to get this going at dead zero. It is a great event for our community. And I know they have invested countless hours making this a reality. I appreciate all that helped them make the match run as I know it was alot of work. Can't wait for the state next month.

I'd like to also thank Troy for helping a new comer get his equipment together and a workable load for not only 1 competitor but his 9yr old and his equipment also.

I'd like to say thanks to Ed also for the gel pack and taking an interest in a young new shooter. Shooting 4 relays with a thin shirt and a steel butt plate was a bit much for a boney 9 yr old. Much appreciated. And he will always remember getting to shoot a 65# 300 wsm heavy gun. He has told everyone he has met since.

Match 1&2 are in the books. I think all that attended had a good time. I know that I did and want to thank Troy and all of the other people that worked to put this on.
Thanks Ed, it sure wasn’t as smooth as I would like it to be. The new BIG bench tops that will be installed before the next match will be a big help as well as finally getting the capability to print the targets on a hard copy paper at the benches(we have that working now but took some wi-fi work yesterday to get it done mid match). Looks like there were 22 guns yesterday and we signed up a few more Gba members as well. We are double checking the results and will post later today hopefully. Thanks to all that came.
