Dead Air Supressor

Anyone else have bad luck with dead air products? After a year wait, my can was defective when I got it! Brand new! The service manager rushed me a return label and said 2-3 weeks turnaround for repair. I ship my can 3 weeks ago, then yesterday, they tell me it's now 6 weeks wait. Absolutely ridiculous! I am definately not pleased with them. Thankful they are fixing it, just frustrates me.

In the end, this pales in comparison to other problems folks are facing, so I'll eat my humble pie. Im praying for the families in Nashville. Hope yall will join me. God Bless!

What was the issue with it?
Iv had the sandman l now for about a year and am pleased with the performance so far.

Yep, same for me. DeadAir Sandman S. No issues, has probably a couple thousands rounds through it. Had an endcap strike and CS was very easy to work with and had a new endcap back to me in about a week.

Wow nice to see this. I had "HAD" the Sandman Ti. It was super nice for tone and sound but I couldn't run it for a full mag on any of my AR's without it coming loose. I ran the hell out of it on my bolt guns and that was fine until I bought a new bolt gun and went to thread the can on and it choked up half way down.......NO I didn't get the threads wrong b/c after I finally got a hold of someone at Dead Air and sent the can in, they said I had some threads brake loose..if that makes sense. Anyways after 2 months of waiting and a rant to the guy on the phone I got the can back and used it a couple of times then Sold it to a friend who just picked it up Monday night after only 3 months of ATF wait time!!! So My Rugged Suppressors Razor 762 should be here by July or Aug. I have a Rugged Oculus rimfire can and love it, I've called them before and someone picks right up....good stuff! PS NOT a Dead Air bash post!

Unfortunately, direct thread cans are hard to keep tight on an AR. That's the nature of the beast.

Mine is the sandman ti.
My issue is the outside can spins when tightening. The threads bottom out, then the whole outside spins when you try to snug it down.
