I know some people are using this mixture in their sonic cleaners to clean their Brass. Can anyone tell me what the ratio would be to mix up a gallon jug. I know you're supposed to use the Lemishine, sparingly. Any help would be appreciated.
SameWhat works for me is: a gallon of HOT water, 2 table spoons of lemishine and a squirt or two of whatever soap l have around
Yes! I found the same thing. I wasn't using much, a 9mm caseful in a Thumler's Tumbler with stainless pins. Pistol brass would drag and squawk on my Dillon's powder funnel. Sizing effort was high. Omitting Lemishine alleviated the problem. Adding some car wash n' wax helped to slick things up. Lemishine does make for blingy brass, but as you say it messes with the surface finish.Less Lemishine is better for brass surface erosion. Left in solution for months as a test, Dawn is harmless to brass but a solution high in Lemishine has the effect of a sandblaster on it.

I second the " Brass Juice " it takes very little and does an excellent job.Get some "Brass Juice". Works much better than the home brew mixes.
