I have a set of 30mm Jewel rings; want to use on this rifle. They mount only on Davidson type base. Sinclair sells blanks @ $25, but a smith wants $45 to cut, mill and drill them. Sharpshooter Supply has nothing. No response to this same question on the Savageshooters site. I may have to go with Picatinny type and buy tactical rings if no other choice. I do not want Signature rings. Where can I find a Davidson type base? Thanks.
