I can't really compare them on an apples to apples basis. They are both 6.5's, but one is a 6.5x47 Lapua while the other is a 6.5-284 Norma. I haven't shot either one enough to wear them out, but here again any comparason would be unfair due to the vast difference in chambering. In other words, I fully expect the 6.5-284 to lose its throat way before the Lapua.

Both are very accurate and are well made, but as I posted on the other thread, the Border appeared to be finished a bit better on the exterior as it arrived from the manufacturer.

They are both excellent barrels and I wouldn't hesitate to buy either one in the future. The exchange rate and the differences in importing one or the other should probably make the difference for you.
