It's with a sad heart that I'm here to inform you Dave Gosnell has gone home to be with the Lord. I can't even begin to list all of his achievements in the shooting world. He was a good friend and excellent shooter and competitor on the range. He will be missed!

WOW! So sorry to hear about this. Did not know David personally but knew of his achievements and from listening to his interview with Erik Cortina on "Believe the Target" it was plain to understand he knew something about F-class shooting and handloading. He explained portions of his technique and it all made good sense. His accomplishments proved favorable to gaining lots of recognition in the shooting sport. R I P David, you will be missed.

I was fortunate enough to have shot with him locally a couple of of times in the past year. He even told me shooting at our local Cameo, CO range was the hardest 1000 yard range he ever shot. I cannot wait to shoot there next weekend in his remembrance. Hoping he has the best 1000 range to shoot against the best that have past before him. RIP David.

One of the greats! He will be sorely missed.

He had a strong grasp and respect of F-Open history and it made him one of the best F-Open historians and story tellers I know. He could recount details (relays, x counts, conditions, target assignments) of events both big and small from years back.

He always spoke of others or teammates accomplishments, you had to pull it out of him to speak about his own. Here's two that were easy for me to look up, I know there's piles more.
