Daughter had....

luck this morning! Yeah....I've already chewed her azz out over the rifle muzzle direction! She texted me "Dad...you KNOW I unload my rifle before I get out of the stand!" Told her my mind reading wasn't worth a schitt these days!

And if he makes a mistake....Shellie will drive his whacker in the dirt! Big and old he is...with a sagging belly! I'd guess at least six years old!

Very nice buck! Will she have a chance to get "Grandpa"? Or is it a one buck situation?

Legally she can take two more!

Louisiana game laws are rather liberal! If it wasn't for having my own range and grass to cut....I'd go bonkers in the off season!! Fishing....is for the demented!! ;D :P

Nice buck! She's pretty an a good hunter. You've done well and are a lucky man. I hope she gets the big one.

Great deer . Go Girl get the big one.
We are having our Annual Youth hunt in Manatee County Florida. Sydney my oldest Grand Daughter is 17 and has ben hunting from the age of 8. She has scored ever year. First time at 8yrs old she got two hogs 265# and 230# .Both were shot in the head with a 223 and with Barnes Bullets. At 10 Years old She killed a 1500# Water Buff with one shot from 308 With Barns 165 Tsx. That got her a story in Barns Bullets youth hunting. This will be her last hunt as a youth. She has a Life time hunting and fishing License.
Alex who is 15 I will be taking for her first big game hunt next Saturday. Alex shot he first turkey at 13.
Cory who is 10 it will be his first big game hunt also. At 8 he killed the second largest turkey taken at Avon Park Bombing Range that year. Out of 168 birds.
Thanks to our County and State. This will be a weekend We all will remember for ever Larry

Rick, here's a great buck my buddy got on trail cam last year in southern Arkansas......Probably not too far from where you're at......Hopefully you get one like this in Kansas!........ ;) :)

Very nice buck, and yeah, the muzzle needs to be somewhere else. Your profile says fly great airplanes. Name some. I have my own list, and we can compare. Stearman, Van's RV, any Cub (now those will crab!), Twin Comanche (ATP checkride in that one, then another instructor ran it out of gas and wadded it up in a ball). Cessna 120's spin like a top. Maule great for pitch stability - not enough rudder. Don't get the tail up early in a crosswind unless you're ready to work the aileron drag. Did inverted flat spins with Frank Price about 15 years ago in the Buecker he flew decked out as a Fokker Triplane in the movie The Great Waldo Pepper.

Stearman, Ag Cat, Pawnee, Ag Wagon, Thrush, and a few of the lighter aerobatic birds.

Stearman: very hard to upstage the old lady! Those ailerons are juicy. And such languid aero. Here we go on a roll... a roll... a roll... Something about the view from a biplane is good for the heart. Now the P51, which I have not flown, has a rep for needing some aileron drag on takeoff, doesn't it? Due to the huge windmill and amount of power, IIRC. Seems like I recall a newbie losing one (and everything else) a couple of years ago, for that reason. Perhaps it was another of the big prop birds. A (now-deceased) friend of mine at one time had the Navy record for traps, and spent WWII flying the gullwing off carriers. That's a MAN. Another of my passed-on buddies was in charge of the spin testing on the F-100; he gave me his whizwheel, since I was a great lover of the device, and he was no longer flying. A guy brought in one of the electronic E6B's once, and challenged me to a contest. I had the answer before he got the question written down. Analog, baby!
