Dasher & the Hornady 105 A-Max

Hi All,

has anyone had any success with this bullet using Varget in their dasher?

I have heard that the A-Max performs well in the 6mmBR but not heard much about its performance in the dasher.

I currently use the sierra 107 with good success however I wouldnt mind looking at this A-Max...always looking to improve

Robert Hoppe has had great success with the 105gr Hornady Amax in his Dasher, setting an NBRSA 600-yard small group record, with many "podium finishes" among a very competitive crowd of shooters.

I have tried them but went back to the 107's. You need a farily long freebore for the 105Amax.

In my rifle they were seated to deep.

RL15 and 105 amax's work just fine in my Dasher. Shot decent at 600 yards on paper and will find out soon how they perform on small critters which is what I will be using that combo for.
