dasher neck diameter ?

It seems like .270 is a standard neck diameter for the NO TURN Dasher. Is there a standard or most popular neck diameter for those that want to turn the necks on the Dasher using the new blue box Laupa brass.

I did a search but never realy turned up much,I know it's there somewhere.

Hal,

You need to get some brass and turn it until you get the necks as cleaned up as you like.

Measure the neck and go for it...

I`d imagine at .011 you would have 100% clean up .011+.011+.243=.265 so .267 will work.

I`m still using my gold box brass so this is just a guess as to how much clean up you`ll have at .011,my gold box cleans up 100% at .012 so my necks are .267 with a .269 chamber.

Same here. Gold box, 267 in a 269.

Thanks for the replies.

Measuring cases the thinest measured .0115.

I'll have to turn a few cases and see what they measure with a bullet seated.

Thank you

Hal

I have .268 and .269 necks. I recommend the 268. I shoot hybrids and they measure .2436'' I turn to .0112''. All the necks clean up 100% using blue box.
