Dasher is Complete

Had an old Action and Stock from my Benchrest days and decided to get into this long range stuff. Had my smith put together a 6 Dasher for me on an Old Wichita 1375 Action, in a McMillen Heavy bench stock with some forearm modification a very old but still quite good Canjar LP trigger and an 8 twist Kreiger .237 bore barrel. Used the false shoulder method to form brass with 30yr old 68Gr. Berger FB benchrest bullets and very old Scottish H-322 powder. The cases formed very nice and the groups were quite respectable for just taking a dead hold and using no wind flags. Can't wait to try it with full throttle loads and Berger 105Vld's and 107 SMK's.

Chuck,

Would love to see a better, full length pix and your cradle looks like it needs to be shown off a bit too....

Rod

Rod, here is the picture of the cleaning cradle you requested. This one is made from Oak but any nice hardwood would work. This one is for a 3" forearm but you could make it any width to fit the stock or stocks that you have.
