Dasher forming in 14

I'm thinking ahead here.... I've already ordered some componets for the next rifle build. Question... Would it be alright to fireform a 6 Dasher in a old 6 PPC barrel rechambered to 6 Dasher?? I was going thru my safe and found an old 6 PPC barrel so I thought it would be good to fireform with. If I remember right it's a 14 twist. Not sure what if anything this would affect while fireforming !! Thoughts ??

Should work for fireforming the case if you use the same reamer you are using to chamber your build but it will most likely not stabilize the heavier 6mm bullets so don't expect much on paper with the fireformers would be my opinion.

Thx 22BRGUY... I'm not real concerned what the target looks like. It would be the same reamer for both FF and comp barrel. Just don't want to put that many rounds down the tube just for fireforming. I'm guessing if using the 14 twist barrel that I would form using the same methods as in a regular barrel ??

Lots of guys do exactly that. Keeps the rounds off the good barrels.
