Dasher Fireforming Loads?

Anyone have a tip or two on what load is giving a really good fire formed case on the Dasher?

Shooting 107 SMK's with Lapua brass.

I like 8-9 grains of pistol powder with cream of wheat best. 30 grains of Varget or RL15 with your 107's will work fine.

I just start at around 28 g rl15 or Varget and go up in 1 grain incruments till I am satisfied. My current FF loads are false sholdered norma cases,CCI 450's, with a 105 VLD jammed hard with 31 g Varget. Shoots better that any of the stuff that I have load developed on calm days.

Last ones I did with a dedicated FF barrel (old PPC barrel) was with 55 gr Nosler BT with 32 grns AA2015. Turned out nice. I would go 32.2 next time, just to compare.

Thanks guys, this should give me an idea. I was leaning towards 29 grains of Varget and 28 grains of R15

We'll see what happens.
