Sunday the Dasher DOME had two new rifles
Sam Moore brought a Bergara 6.5 PRC He had factory loaded Ammo but no scope. I set my 8 - 80x March on it and we zeroed and went straight to 800 yds. It shot very well. Next we got to get him reloading.
Taylor Carter brought a Savage Precision F-Class stock Savage in 7 SAUM I bore sighted the NF and first two were on paper and tight. I dialed in the scope and told Taylor he would cut the red dot bullseye with the next shot. The dot was approximately the size of a bullet hole. Sure enough Taylor cut the dot in half with the next shot. Now to 800 yd. He shot a 3.75” three shot group
Three shots are faint but low 6 o ‘clock on plate
Monday Voldoc came over and trued up his come-ups out to 800 yds. He had a 22 BR , 6 BRA, and the third caliber I have forgotten. One was shooting 65-V-Max at 3800 plus fps.
The BRA wax a MACK action shooting 105 hybrid.
In was in a MDT stock and shot great at 800.
He had a set of ranging binoculars that ranged and displayed his come-ups for elevation in the binocular field of view.
Doc knocked over these little critters at 800 with the BRA.
