Dandy trickler problem

Just took my Dandy trickler out to measure some loads and it's not working. New batteries. Nada. It was working fine when I put it in the box and is never stored with batteries inside.

Any troubleshooting tips or known 'loose wires' that I can check for?

Thanks

those wires are pretty fine, id check all the ones in the box, and wiggle the one that goes into the trickler.
ive dealt with the guy that makes them getting parts, hes pretty good to work with.

Thanks. I moved away from Mesa about 10 yrs ago and lost his contact info.

im not seeing anything about needing lithium battery's, but sounds like the vibrator can get stuck.
**Note1: If the powder trickler fails to operate, check the battery installation. If it still does not operate, hold the "red" button down and tap the hopper with a pencil or similar object. If it operates, let it run for approximately 30 seconds.**
also he has a return policy if it doesnt work for a replacement.

Yeah, that was a recommendation with the original models. Works with regular alkalines but is mo' betta with the lithiums.

I have the trickler and the attachment that 'looks' at the 1010 beam and cuts off when it reaches zero. Also bought a prism on a stand to magnify the reading on the 1010.

I honestly did not know that they were still in business.
