My guess, though I have never tried any hydro form die, is there was a misalignment that caused the rims to be damaged by the shell holder during the process.Yes me, no not first time I went back and checked my other 100 and they seem fine though to be honest I have fired the 3 times, not sure if I just didn’t notice it and firing flattened them out???????
6BRX is a lot simpler. Same ballistics. If you look at the word Lapua you can see the bent lip on the case head above the pua, I checked all the other cases and found maybe 10 out of 100 with this same bend….

DJ's Brass does all my hydro forming and the brass is "match-ready" when it comes to me.
I work 3 days a week now. Just finished 1000 6 PPC this past week.Thought he was out of business
A bench primer with something in the holder?Looks like it could’ve happened during priming
Well, if you did it priming I sure don't want to shake hands!Hand primed..
Did you ever figure out what caused this for sure?If you look at the word Lapua you can see the bent lip on the case head above the pua, I checked all the other cases and found maybe 10 out of 100 with this same bend….
