CZ457 factory pillar question

Appears they include a composite type pillar in their factory stocks. Or they at least did mine. Im in the process of bedding it and was curious if its worth replacing them with aluminum ?

Thoughts?

It’s not a centerfire so minimal weight for barrel and receiver, not a lot of recoil … doesn’t take much torque to secure action in stock. Not really necessary for standard barrel profile. I haven’t heard any issues on this. If it’s a heavy barrel MTR or custom large diameter barrel profile then maybe…. How does it shoot?

In a CZ MTR those pillars are pretty tough as long as you Never over tighten the action and crush them-
You will probably find more pure accuracy improvement by doing an action screw torque test.
Many MTR's shoot best around 20 front and rear but all of ours have wound up with less in the rear more on the order of 15 rear and 20 front for very best grouping. As little as a few in lbs can make a huge difference in groups--when you find your numbers--stick to them.
We shoot against a lot of bedded MTR's in Factory class and hang right there with them with none of ours bedded -- I feel like any rifle shoots better bedded but for a CZ MTR I don't believe that is true based on watching a LOT of them on the bench beside me --get your numbers and if you don't want to test just do 15 + in rear and 20 in the front after that it is ammo, ammo, ammo They are Very picky but with a Good Lot they are amazing rifles
I have 10 lots on hand now and only two shoot well in mine--that is about par for an MTR
