Cz452 barrel removal

Can't speak to how hard the barrel will come off but did run across this on rimfire central.

The guy that gives the info about the thread was highly regarded with the CZ's so I'm confident its correct.

The 455 is the current 22 CZ model replacing the model 452. The 455 has a slip fit barrel with a locking set screw. The barrels are made to be switched, 22LR, 22 Magnum, 17 HMR. Since CZs are made in the europe the threads are most likely metric. The tenon is either .900" or .750" and there is a close fit US thread. It can and has be easily modified. The 452 is a prefered action.

I was pretty sure I had fit a barrel years , okay decades ago , using a std 60deg .
Memory is not what it use to be . I was going to fit another barrel to a nos rifle , but more projects are on hold .

Actually the 457 is the current incarnation. The 455 has been out of production for a few years now. I like the 457.

That aside, why remove the 452 barrel?
