Rifle is in excellent condition and comes with a really nice factory walnut stock. A few very minor imperfections in the stock from handling, but please see pictures to judge the quality for yourself. Sale includes both 1" and 30mm rings, 3 steel magazines, and a Lyman 3 die set which includes an additional RCBS seating die. $1350 shipped your FFL in the lower 48. Please make sure your FFL will accept shipments from private individuals. Not really looking for any trades at this time. Thanks.

Met up with jbell74 and purchased this very nice CZ rifle: face-to-face, rifle and tools as described and
he was very accommodating - top notch individual to deal with. :D Only thing "wrong with it" . . . it's NOT a .222 Rem. !:p BUT it could become one - or, a VarTarg . . . ;) Bore-scope shows probably < 300 rounds down a very uniform leade - now, gotta find time to shoot it. RG

Congratulations, nice rifle!

When CZ announced they wouldn’t be making the 527 anymore I bought three, Lux models, 22 hornet, 222 and 223. Very accurate little rifles. Enjoy!

I was very disappointed in CZ when they trimmed the ell out of their bolt gun lineup including the 527.

I lost all respect for CZ when they hooked up with Colt. Colt has a history of screwing up everything they touch.

My info is CZ bought Colt. I'm not sure Colt has anything to do with decision making. However CZ may have trimmed the bolt gun lineup to channel $ into Colt production. Just speculation on my part.

I believe you are correct about who bought whom, however the devil is in the details. Looks like Colt will be running things here in the USA. CZ said they had bought 100% of Colt, then said that Colt was their partner. Time will sort it all out. I would think with Colt's history in pricing their products and that fact they can't sell more than they are producing CZ wouldn't waste their money on new production.

I have that rifle in a lefty. Shoots everything half inch. Crazy. Factory Remington 32 grain era and 32 grainer Hornady reloads. Varget is your friend.

Did CZ USA lose a lot of rifles? I went to their website and saw no centerfire rifles. Maybe I just missed them? I have a 452 LH American and a 527 LH (American?) and darn glad I have those. I owned two 527 Lux models many years ago when they became the hot new ticket and Lux was the initial and only option. I got rid of those two because I could not end up liking the Lux styling.

They should never have gotten rid of the 452 and 527 models.
