I really hate to let this go, but age is forcing more downsizing. I had James Calhoon build this gun new 5-6 years ago. It has been fired less than 100 rounds. Very accurate and I have only tried R-7 so other powders suggested by Calhoon could be better. I went whole hog when I ordered the rifle so lots of extras from Calhoon included with the rifle. I have over 2200.00 originally invested and have receipt. Price is 1450.00 plus shipping. Leupold 6-18x40 NOT included but available to buyer at a reasonable price if interested.
The rifle: oiled finished Walnut and vented stock under forearm, (Calhoon's stock guy), pillar bedding, Calhoon modified bolt handle for lower scope rings, 20 oz. trigger, 8 oz. set, Benchmark SS hand lapped match grade sporter barrel free floated, tuned extractor, slicked up bolt operation.

179 new brass
415 32 gr HP bullets
120 loaded rounds
Forster die set with shell holder
Case holder for Wilson case trimmer
Warne scope rings
Bore guide
11 bore brushes
2 jags
1 magazine
1 single shot follower
All paperwork including load data

I've been watching Calhoun rifles on GB and similar sites over the past few years and this quite a package at a great price, everyone must be sleeping on this in the new year. If I wasn't thinking about downsizing my collection I'd be all over it.

That's the killer right there. We are basically related to hoping the new owner of Calhoun is still producing them. Which seems to be very sporadic at best

I just got off the phone with James Calhoon Manufacturing (1-2-26) and he said diffidently he has bullets and brass for the 19 Badger. He also said Hornady produces a bullet and Starline produces brass. So, no concerns for brass- bullet components.

That must be a fairly new change in the situation. I talked to him back in May and he said he'd been having a lot of trouble with suppliers. That bodes well for a lot of folks who were scrambling to find bullets.

Also, I have had questions on scope included in package price.
Scope is a 6-18x40 Leupold VX-2 with fine duplex, excellent condition. Fits rifle perfectly.
TOTAL rifle, extras, scope package deal is 1825.00. (don't ask to buy scope for 375, package price only)

You can also get a drawing die and make 19 cal bullets from 20 cal, the 19 Badger i loaded for thats what the bullets were drawn down from 20 cal 34 V- Nitemares.
I think after James wife passed away from Cancer it took some wind out of his sail for a bit.
