I have recently completed a little varmint rifle built on a CZ 527 with M1 bottom metal for 3 shot clips. I built this out of spare parts. Had a 14 twist stainless take off from a rifle I had traded for just sitting around. Cut a couple inches off and threafed and chambered it with my 222 Remington reamer and it finished at 21.5". The barrel finish was polished so I took some emery cloth and dulled it down a little. Not real fancy but it did the job. Pilar and glass bedded it into a varmint stock I bought here on the forum quite a while ago. Mounted a Simmons 3.5-10 on it, took some 40gr Nosler loads I had for another rifle out and sighted it in. Even in breezy conditions I was under .75" with a quick 5 shot after getting it on paper. The rifle ended up small enough that it sits on my console ready to go out either side of my pickup. I am having trouble.posting pics but will try and get some up tonight. Can't wait to try a 20 Bobcat on a CZ. Should be a hoot!!!!!
