I am listing for sale the stock from CZ 457 Varmint MTR. It came on a new Varmint MTR I purchased earlier this year. It has been on a rifle that has been fired. I wasn't very impressed with the oil finish the factory puts on them, so I stripped it and it has over 20 coats of Arrow Wood Finish on it as the new finish. I have the steel rear lug and all 3 studs it came with when new. It DOES NOT come with the bottom metal or action screws (these are readily available and better quality than the CZ original if you need them).
I looked it over carefully and the only sign of use I see is on the bottom of the front of the forearm. It comes to a very sharp edge, and where it was held against the front stop on the rest, I can see light marks it left. I have included a picture of this, as I want to show anything I know. The stock marking shows up much better with the current finish than it did with the factory finish. I am asking $275 shipped on this stock. I don't mind keeping it, so if my price is too steep, I understand. Personal checks always welcome from contributing members, willing to discuss payment terms with everyone else.
