CZ 457 picatinny rail

Ah I c.
I couldn't see the bubble without glasses on lol..
Thanks for the reply
Heck, I can’t see my rifle without my glasses on.
I do find the bubble level convenient when I mount a scope. I level the rifle and then level the scope with another bubble level.

I have an AREA 419 30moa on my Tikka T1X. It is like the rest of their accessories, top notch but not necessary to shoot good groups.
Check out DIPS.
EGW is good.

The CZ tightens from the top. I am not sure tightens in the correct word. There are no threaded holes in the top of the receiver, so the screws in the top of the CZ rail don't thread into anything. They thread through the pic rail and butt up against the top of the receiver, "tensioning?" it against the dovetail on the receiver.

The 419 has screws that come in from the side of the receiver. They also don't thread into anything. The level on the 419 I received isn't level. They are sending me a replacement rail, which I should have next week. The 419 is pretty tall, too. That might be a good thing for ejection clearance.

I milled flats in mine for the set screws to make contact… a file also works.., of green Loctite, bearing retainer…
DIP also make a rail…
