I bought this rifle with the intention of getting into the rimfire game, and turns out, I'm not a fan. I'm going to stick to centerfire where I can control the loads... I don't have time for all the lot testing and such. This is a very nice rifle. It's a factory CZ 457 MTR with the factory heavy 20.5" barrel which has been threaded 1/2"x24 and includes a compensator. Also included is a factory CZ 457 fluted heavy barrel which is 20.5" which is also threaded 1/2"x24 which includes a thread protector. The barrel that is on the gun is a factory CZ sporter barrel which is not threaded. The guy I purchased the rifle from said he used the factory heavy barrel in the summer time, but when it cooled off, the fluted barrel shot better.
The scope is a 36x42 Sightron SII. I couldn't get a good picture of the reticle but it is a fine crosshair with a target dot in the center. There is also a level which is mounted to the scope rail. A 5 round magazine as well as a "magazine plug" making it a single shot is included as well.
The rifle has been bedded and has the factory trigger but has a different spring in it. I've attached a picture of the trigger pull. It came in at just over 6oz. I also bought the bolt shim kit from Trigger Shims.com and currently have the .004" shim in there right now. The outside of the barrels show slight wear, but there are very few rounds down each of the barrels.
