Cz 457 magazine catch spring - need a replacement

Hi, I lost my magazine catch spring the other day and have been looking around for a new one but can’t find one. Does anyone know the dimensions of it so I can try and make something work from a pen or hardware store.

Looking for a CZ 457 and I’m located in the US if you know of a link that sells the proper spring.

Here is one for a 455 but not sure if it would be compatible for reference that I have found in Europe…

I pulled one out of one of my 457's. It is .300" L .140" O.D.
To replace them I take the mag housing off the receiver- the screw closest to the trigger only needs to be loosened not removed. If it's a 22 LR or 17 mach2 there is a spacer held in with a pin that easily slides out- I put tape on it to hold it in place. Put grease on the mag release spring to hold it in place. When you get the mag release and spring in place insert an empty magazine to hold everything. Then I use a punch as a slave pin to align the mag release with the hole, then press the pin in from the other side

Mcmaster Carr has some that are .008" larger O.D. and could be cut to length:

I realize this is an old thread, but I have a question. Would you order the one that has the higher tension?

Hard to say, as the tension of the stock spring is unknown. In the end there probably isn't much noticeable difference, and the higher one would work fine.
