Cz 457 gunsmith

Looking at rebarreling my 457. I know there are a lot of drop in barrels available if you want to wait several months. Any know a gunsmith that might turn custom barrels for 457 they would recommend. Thanks

What kind of barrel did you use

Another good choice. I had him do a glue in for me. Rapid turn around.

What barrels did everyone get?

Anschutz 54 Match take off barrel recut from the chamber end and a new chamber. Shoots fairly consistent .2s in ideal conditions in a chassis. Have a couple of Shilen Ratchet ordered. A .900 straight and a #5 taper. Will post when I see how they work.

Sorry, he installed a shilen ratchet in mine, 3 cz rifles with his work my area VA. All have shot 250's in IR matches, not everytime but they are shooters. He will do what you want. mine was a barrel and bed job in factory boyds stock. Not prefits.

Try Whidden Gunworks. Not sure if they can do that quick turn a round. GOOD people.
