CZ 457 chassis options

I'd like to hear from anyone as to their likes/dislikes on the various options out there. For center fire I've owned MDT ACC and KRG Bravo and thinking that may be the way I need to go. My new 457 came in a Boyd's Pro Varmint and I need more LOP and don't care for the rigging I have to do to get a proper cheek weld....do miss the vertical grip as well.

Just want to make sure I have not missed any new options out there in the chassis world..thanks.

I have my son's in an XLR Element and it's been solid for many years. And with the adjustability of it, it's stayed with him since he was pretty young and small to where he's in college and taller than me now.

The top end chassis don’t make sense unless you are going for deep dive to upgrade your CZ457 with custom barrel ($800) and trigger.

If you are not going full custom then take a hard look at MDT XRS chassis. It is adjustable and robust. I like it a lot better than the KRG chassis.

I prefer the ACC Gen 1 and I’ve got a couple of them, but the XRS is solid and I have one of those too. I was excited about the vanquish till I found out it would only work with the factory plastic CZ 10-rnd mag. I like the L3i 13 rounders. I see more used chassis come up for sale in the 700 footprint. I bought my second ACC on a Black Friday sale from MDT a couple years back at considerable savings.

I have got the XRS chassis with my CZ457/Lilja barrel. A very solid combination.

It’s not at the top-top for features but it’s miles ahead of the Tupperware hybrid stuff that flexes. If you’re a bench shooter from a rest just touching the trigger a flexible stock will work. If you load a bipod, have much cheek weld, no. I could make a bravo shift poi by handing it different. Get what you pay for!!!
