Hey all, probably a question for RFC, but this site is easier to navigate from a phone and I am going to be in a hospital room for the next day and boredom is getting the best of me.
Just had a baby and ended up buying him a CZ457 scout from sportsmans warehouse. This kid is more than likely going to out grow the youth stock before he's 10 or so judging by the fact that newborn clothes are snug already, haha
A member here was selling a stock and barrel from a 457 American but I was a day late and I belive the stock may be spf.
I want to have a full size stock and 20-24" barrel just in case the 457 goes the way of the 452 in the next 10 years. I am having a hard time locating the American style stock. Assuming I buy a sporter type barrel found on the 457 American, would the stock from a 17hmr/22 mag 457 fit the 22 lr barrel without modification? I know it's early and I should probably post a wtb ad first, but it looks like 457 22mags are plenty available for decent retail prices, so I am thinking if all else fails I'll buy the 22mag for the stock and pick up a used or take off barrel. Worst case I get it for the stock and can't find the 22lr barrel atleast it'll fit him though might look like a manlicher with the 16" barrel
