Cz 457 17hmr slight woes..opinions welcome

Gents, I recently picked up a take off 455/457 varmint barrel in 17 hmr..(wta first 17hmr I have owned). I believe it's from the 455 era since it has a glossy blued finish rather than the matte nitride-esque finish on my factory vmt barrel in 22lr and others I have seen.

Anywho its a hoot to shoot but during my first outing with it I had intermittent ftf, light strikes and 2 hang fires of the 100 rds I shot yesterday. The light ftf strikes did go off the second strike around.

My guess after looking at the fired brass is a headspace issue possibly. The strikes look a bit weak tho I do not have another barrel to compare fired brass to. My biggest thing is the conical bulge on some of the rims very prevelant on the fired case pictured right. During install I gave it a good tap with a mallet on the action's rear end in hopes to ensure proper fit.

I do have a lightened trigger spring in however I did not have any issues whatsoever when it was in it's original .22lr configuration with the trigger spring.

Guessin some bolt shims are in order??
TIA!!

Some advocate the firing pin modification for improved ignition... There are heavier firing pin springs available for a few bucks. My guess would be headspace. No go gauges are available form numerous sources. I think I got my last one from Lilja....
