CZ 455 out today

I took my new CZ455 Varmint out for the second time. 60 degrees but windy 8 to 12 mgh with gust to 22 mph. I had few good groups, but had a few 4 in, one out of the group due to wind. I shot some gum balls and match sticks at 50 yds. Gum Balls must be hit without hitting the golf tee. It needs a trigger job, little creep at 2.5 lbs. I have a yo Dave kit coming.

I want that scopebase and burris rings for mine. I just got a 50x sightron and the high cz mounts I have wont do.

The yo Dave kit is a great deal and you end up with a decent trigger. Another good upgrade, although it cost almost as much as the rifle is a Lilja barrel. I have 2 455s. A 22LR and a 22 mag and both turned into honest to god 1/4" guns with them. The 22 mag CZ barrel was a .3" barrel with Hornady 30 grain load from the factory. The Lilja made it shoot everything much better though. I love these little rifles.

I got my YoDave kit yesterday, I plan to install by the weekend. Friend of mine has a Liija on his 455 Trainer, it shoots great.

I just put the 17 HMR barrel back on my 455. I have a rifle Basix trigger on mine.. Mine isn't as pretty as yours as it rides around in either the Jeep or the truck and gets a bit banged up. Shoots great though.

I got the YoDave spring in the CZ today. I just did the spring for now. cut the pull in half.

If you ever run out of gumballs, try paint balls on the golf tees. Spotting hits is easy.

Further back, I will have to try that. After shooting, there is paint left in the the casings, it get on your hands, then everything. You also have to watch hot glueing, the case can melt and pop.

Back out today again. I got some Eley, Match Tenex, and Lapua Center X. The Eley shot good, but the Center X was a stand out.
