Cz 455 Fedderson Barrels

I recently bought one of their CZ455 barrels. It is 16.25" threaded muzzle.
SO far I am very pleased with it. I scoped it when it arrived. It is button rifled but appears to be lapped afterward; very smooth and no tool marks. I have shot mostly Wolf Match Extra (sorted) and results have been excellent. Mind you, I am not shooting BR type matches but small steel targets out to 200 yards.

Fred makes quality stuff Precision Shooting Magazine did a good article on his barrel making technique a few years back.

Feddersen barrels are good on 10/22's so they should be good for the 455, the thing you want to have correct on these or any drop in 455 barrel is the head space, this is important on the 455 action as the tolerances are not as tight as a custom action. Lilja actually makes a barrel with a shim kit for the 455 allowing you to set the head space yourself.
