CZ 452 Barrel Change Question

I have a CZ 452 in .17 Mach 2 caliber that I absolutely love...problem is, seems like it is a dinosaur caliber that I am not going to be able to get ammo for much longer. CZ has fixed this issue on their new CZ 455 rifles and made the barrel changes process something the common shooter can do...well, this is not the case with my CZ 452 and I have a couple of questions about what my options are as far as changing out barrels once I run out of .17 Mach 2 ammo I now have and they no longer make it. 1) Can I have a gunsmith change my barrel to a .17 HMR, .22 LR, or .22 Win. Mag. or maybe even change it to a .204 Ruger? This way I can at least still use my rifle since it really is a great little rifle. 2) Better yet, if I stay with the rimfire calibers, would it be possible to get a gunsmith to make it where I could have a barrel in more than one caliber and change it back and forth as I choose like with the new CZ 455 rifles?

Mach 2 is not a dinasour round and there is still plenty available. I just read a forum the last couple days where somebody bought almost 2 cases because nobody was shooting it around his area and the LGS let him buy all they had.

Hornady & CCI still make this ammo. You could rebarrel to .22lr, but not to .22mag or 17 HMR without additional work to clip well of your gun. I have a 452 in 17 Mach 2 & 17 HMR and both shoot lights out.

Thanks to both of you for your replies and please don't get me wrong, I certainly do NOT want to re-barrel my rifle and it will be a LAST resort if I do but I was just wondering what my options are IF this is what it comes to. I just hope the few manufacturers who are producing this ammo take those of us who do have and love rifles in this caliber into consideration and continue to make it. I know there are only a handful of rifles still offered in this caliber and Eley has already stopped making the .17 Mach 2 ammo and although I know there are still a few manufacturers making it I am sure not having much luck finding any...at LGS, big box stores or online, other than those folks REALLY taking advantage of their fellow sportsmen and price gouging the hell out of them but I am just not able to pay 2, 3 & 4 or more times the actual cost of the ammo. I did luck up on 14 boxes about a month ago at a LGS and thankfully they were still selling it at the correct price per box based on what the manufacturers & distributors are charging and they also allowed me to buy it all but this is ALL I have been able to find anywhere at any reasonable price...including all my wholesale distributors. Of course most of them have it "allocated" for their biggest/best dealers and since I just a small fish I don't even have a chance at it.
I sure do wish I could find some of the places you are talking about fr3db3ar where there is plenty available or even someone selling a couple of cases at a reasonable price because I would sure buy all I could get, or at least all I could afford. If you find a source who has more available than you are purchasing I would sure appreciate a heads up on it.

A O T, to the best of my memory, you could only rebarrel your CZ 452 to the .22LR cartridge!
To do anything else, would be a bit of a challenge and as such, very expensive!

If I were you, I would just sell it and by another CZ 452 in .22LR or a 455 with the barrels you want?

Sorry to jump right in without doing an intro.
Your CZ452 in HM2 is the only calibre 452 you can change barrels on without using a smith.
If you look closely you will find a knock through pin on the underside of the receiver, just knock it out and the barrel pulls off, much like a Sako Finfire.
You could have another barrel fitted to your action in .22lr and then swap them about as you require.
