Cut or not?

I`ve got a Remy 700 BDL, sendero type barell in 20 PPC. Barell length is 25". I`m shooting berger 50s in 1/9 Krieger.
My thoughts; putting a QSM 308 suppressor on it and dont know if I`ll like all that lenght. The can is 8" long.
Six hundred yard shots aren`t a problem. Thinking maybe 20" or 22". 100fps shouldn`t be a big deal. Just wondering what you 20 cal shooters think :)

My response would be tempered by the material the suppressor is made of. For a longer barrel, I would keep the 25" length if it was a titanium can ( lighter weight, less flex on the barrel ). If the can is stainless and heavier, I'd think the barrel harmonics would be less affected if the barrel was shorter.

That is based upon what I have been told by people with centerfire suppressors. Mine is a rimfire ( YHM .22 Mite ) on a 16" CZ 452. So my perceptions are somewhat limited.

Hope this helps a little.

The suppressor is all titanium @ 13.5 oz. The only other I know thats lighter are Shark cans add 3 bills. Might try as is and work my way down if inclined. thanks Paul.
