I have a custom VZ 24 Mauser with commercial shroud in 30-06 that my cousin had built in the mid 90's.
Stock is a BEAUTIFUL thumb hole quilted maple.
It has a Timney trigger that breaks clean at 2 lbs.
26 inch Shilen Select or Hart (we think) barrel .925 at muzzle with not many rds on it.
It sat in a southern cali and then South Carolina safe for years so it has some rust on bolt rim, extractor etc and I documented with pictures. Also some where lugs engage chamber, tried to get pics. Bolt still cycles and closes fine but I'd have a smith clean up the rust or if you're capable do it yourself but make it safe before you pull the trigger.
Selling as a collection of PARTS and price will reflect.
I expect you could could completely disassemble including removing barrel, clean up the rust and put back together and make work but I have neither the time nor inclination.
Comes with rings on it.
Stock is worth the price of admission.
