Custom browning xbolt

I haven't because my two X Bolts (i.e. 243 and 223) do everything I could ever want a rifle to do albeit a hunting rifle. They are excellent high quality rifles.

Both of my rifles are very accurate with tailored hand loads shooting in the 1/2 moa range.

The extractor system is one of the best I've ever had especially with the 223 Rem.

Handling qualities are excellent in the field.

Like the new safety system where you can load and unload with safety engaged.

My only two complaints:

1. The polymer magazine. After three seasons of heavy use, both practice and in the field, the 223 magazine wore out and wouldn't reliable feed. Browning replaced, no charge. Would like to see a metal magazine.

2. The new trigger system is alright but mine couldn't be adjusted to lower than 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 lbs, too heavy for precision varmint and predator hunting for me especially with a high power scope. Gunsmith worked them and got both rifles down to 2 1/2 lbs. Would like to see an adjustable Remington (old style) trigger system.

Mcarbo makes a spring that will lighten trigger pull significantly. I have it in all my browning. I mostly want another barrel and a little better stock. The actions are top shelf.

I won a 6.5 CR at the last Elk dinner. Shot decent with factorys, working on reloads now. So what is the difference in T-versues X-bolt?

I handled a X-bolt Hell's Canyon LR in 6mm Creedmoor and was VERY impressed with fit and finish. Looked nice with that burnt bronze ceracote.

Give them credit where credit is due especially for actually giving the barrels fast twists on a rifle marked for Long Ranger Hunting.

From 2018 on they made some of the twists even faster !

6mm Creed 7.5" twist
6.5 Creed 7"
26 Nosler 7"
28 Nosler 8"
7 RemMag 8"
300 WinMag 8"
