Engraved "Number One of One" on side.
"Bruce Thom 12-3-99" on bottom, "Rathdrum ID" next to bolt stop.
This is a 1.840" diameter, 13"long, 5lb-1oz, right bolt/ right port, non-eject rifle action.
The 7-1/4" long, straight fluted bolt has a .480 bolt face(pulls 308 and PPC cases), a sliding plate extractor and BAT's 25deg coned bolt nose.
The action is threaded for a 1-1/8" dia x 16tpi x 1.550 long barrel tenon.( barrel included if you wish, it's a perfect fit for this action).
Action & Bolt in very good condition with great fit and lock up. A few cosmetic blemishes on exterior of action(see photos).

The Barrel is a 13.5 twist, 1.450 diameter ,4 groove Krieger, 28" long, chambered for 6PPC- .262 neck. Round count is unknown( I would guess 1500+). The throat show lots of fire cracking. The tenon threads are a perfect fit for the action and would be useful to duplicate when chambering a new barrel.

This bolt appears to be the same diameter as most regular Bat actions. A Bat M, which is more suited for tha bigger magnums, are about .020 larger in diameter.

You could open it to standard magnum, while using a Sako or M-16 extractor. I would not try to go as large as the Lapua magnum.

Or just take it to standard 308 and use the RUM rebated cases, which are pretty potent.

The bolt diameter is the same as the standard B and DS actions(.718). The lugs are .200 longer than the B( .750 vs .550). The loading port is 3.350 long.
