Custom Actions???

Hello

I am going to have a custom .270 built. The rifle will be used for hunting, but I enjoy bench shooting all of my rifles weekly. I have two questions. Are there any quality custom actions that can be purchased without a long wait? And can I have a rifle built so the magazine will hold hand loaded bullets that are seated to the lands? Thanks.

You can also try Mac Tilton at MT Guns. He carries Barnard actions and usually has them in stock.

There is a repeater version that has the same footprint as a Rem700.

Make sure and check out the new Borden actions as well. The Alpine/Timberline actions are drop in precision replacements for the 700's and are really nice. The Alpine is the short 700 version and the Timberline the long action.

One feature about the Borden actions is that the ejector is positioned so the cases are ejected out the side rather than up into the scope as commonly occurs with Sako extractor conversions in Rems. They are available with standard magazines or for the longer Wyatt boxes.

Fit and finish are very, very nice..like anything else from the Borden shop. :thumb: If you do a search here, I posted some pics of my Alpine sometime back.
