Just as the title states I'm looking for a custom bullet maker that "currently" makes or has 7mm VLD style bullets around 180 grains. One manufacturer that I use for my 6mm bullets has had them in the works for two years and the other that I wanted to try won't have jackets for several months. They're going to be used for 1,000 yard benchrest comp. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

I know they are not, by definition, "custom", however, I have seen BOTH the 195 Elite Hunter and the 184 Hybrid shoot at 3" at 1000 yards. I have a couple friends at Bayou Rifles that use the 7 SAUM IMP. for 1000 yard F-Class. I have seen pictures they have taken of their groups. They were right at (give or take 1/8th inch) 3 inches! I would not think you could do much, if any better, than that with ANY other bullet, custom or not!
