Custom .308

Hello All,

I just purchased a Mauser custom .308 rifle which included a scope. It has a target barrel, a nice wooden stock and what seems like a different or reworked action with a nice trigger.

At some point I'll have to take the stock off to clean, does anyone know what ft/lbs to torque the screws to. I'm sure the rifle is bedded.

Hi, torque up to 5Mn, you need to give the head a good clean

What is Mn? What do you mean by "give the head a good clean"?

Supposed to read Nm, or Newton Meter. 5 Nm equivalent to about 3.7 Ft Pounds.
