Curtis Custom Long Action Bottom Metal and 3 Round Flush Mag review

Well I finally got to install some Curtis Custom Long Action Bottom Metal with their Flush 3 round magazines. The customer sent me his 6.5x284 barreled action and I used a Manners EH1 I had in stock. These long action magazines were designed specifically for the 300 win/rum cases. Upon a little testing I found the 6.5x284 to feed like butter in it. So these magazines will feed anything from 6.5x284 on up to the 300 RUM. Heres some pics on how it turned out.

They are a pretty slick setup. The short action mags are even more close to flush. Both the short and long action magazines feed like butter. For a hunting setup its perfect as nothing sticks out and snags on anything.

Will the short action magazines work with a SAUM case?

No. Those will probably be available in a couple months. Ive used the accurate mag wsm mags in the 6.5 saums. The 308 ai mag will also work with a little tweeking of the feed lips.
