Anyone know what the going rate is now for prime hides?

I sold a lot of Coyote hides in the 70's-90's
H.E Goldberg, Moscow Hide and fir, Bought most of them.

You will need to keep in mind that there is a big difference in the fur, not only within your area, but also from region to region. Generally speaking, our midwestern coyotes are not nearly as valuable as the western coyote. IMHO if you want the most for your efforts, put up your own fur and sell through NAFA. Selling to the local fur buyer adds another mouth to feed. Not knocking the fur buyer, he has his place and needs to make a profit for risks taken.

I would like to find someone like I had 40 years ago when we were calling & killing a lot of prime red fox. We took them to him in the round, no skinning, collected $ & were on the way to get more. I can live with someone making a few $ for skinning etc. The issue today is I quite sure that my wife isn't going to be good with dead coyotes in the basement.
