Current brass prices?

I've been reloading for about 36 years, but with a new career and two moves around the country I haven't done much shooting and even less reloading in the last couple years. And, now being unemployed (maybe retired), money is coming in a little slower (not much at all).
I have quite a bit of brass that I probably will never get to, I am curious what used brass is going for these days. In various calibers like 45acp, 44mag, 45 win mag(new), 243, 308, 223. And does anyone know what casting lead is going for?

You might check once fired brass places online such as Diamond K Brass
to get a general idea of market values
It aint worth a whole lot, especially pistol except maybe the 44 Mag & 45 Winmag stuff
223 mix is approx $60 per 1000 at this place

However if you have Same headstamp such as ALL Remington
List it here and you will likely get top dollar

As someone who is in the business I can tell you that used brass demand is way down. It is a combination of primer cost vs ammo cost, and the availability of alternate product, namely new condition Starline brass.

The 44 Mag and 45 Win Mag will likely have a buyer, particularly if matching headstamp.

If the 45ACP is matching RP headstamp, someone will want that. There are bullseye loads where that brass is favored. Beyond that, not much demand for 45 as most pistol games are being shot with 9mm now.

Most of the rest is worth $2 per lb at the recyclers unless the 223 is fully processed and has the primer pockets swaged or reamed. Even fully processed 223 is a slow mover due to the pricing and availability of loaded ammo.

Spot price for lead is ninety some cents per pound.. And of course that would be for pure lead - a known quantity.
Most of us casters like to know the mix/alloy of the lead we're using, at least to some degree. Most of us would rather get actual clip on wheel-weights, than pure lead. Muzzle loaders want pure. jd
