Crosswind effects.

A 10 mph crosswind will move the bullet about 1 inch at 50 yards. Unfortunately the wind is never that consistent all the way to the target. http://www.eskimo.com/~jbm/cgi-bin/jbmtraj_simp-5.0.cgi This web site has a trajectory program that also gives wind drift. It shows about 4 inches for 100 yds with 10 mph. Use .14 for the ballistic coefficient of the .22 and its pretty close.

I took my model 37 out to shoot for the first time the other day and unfortuneately I had a full value wind around 5-10 and my groups were scattered at 100 yd. I just switched from 308 to a 22 cal for a change of pace for a while. I think I may be hooked.
Thanks
