Criterion Barrels

Has anyone had experience with a Criterion barrel. Every time I try to inquire about a Rem700 barrel I get shunted to a Savage rifle forum where only barrels for Savages are listed.

Didn't know they made Remington pattern barrels, but I have fit a bunch of Criterion Garand barrels, and they are better than original GI in a lot of ways. Dimensionally, they are tighter than original GI barrels. Everyone I have fit one for reports very good accuracy.

i have three criterions, the two i have up and running are holding less than half moa out to 600 yards(not had chance to test farther yet.) ditto on give Jim Briggs a call, great guy to deal with.

This is what mine has done at 300 yards, I havent tried the new load out at longer distances but I was impressed. 260AI.

Im lucky enough to have Jim as a neighbor and he is a great guy, a little busy and short of time but he will make time to help you out.

He has Criterion barrels in stock for both Remington's a Savages and the Remington's have a nut like the Savage's so all you need is a go & no go gauge to install no gunsmiths required.

Yeah but the Rem bbl's with the nut are Jims product and as far as I know only he sells them, they are made to his specs, pretty sure Jim is a better contact for this.
