Creedmoor American Bullet Co 308 175 match same as Sierra 175s?

Can anyone confirm if the Creedmoor American Bullet Co 308 175 match bullets are the same as the Sierra 175 bullet? Or who manufacturers the American Bullet Co (ABC) bullets?

The page below speaks highly of the American Bullet Co "seconds" so I assume the match would be even better. The BC of the ABC and the Sierra 175s just happen to be the same.

Creedmoor/ABC provides a description of the difference between the "Practice" and "Match" versions:

As far as whether they are from Sierra, my word on that is not in any way "official", but I think it's safe to assume that they are. No one but Sierra offers a 169 gr BTHP match bullet. Based on the other weights/designs offered, ABC appears to carry bullets from Sierra and Hornady, as well as a 750 gr monolithic solid, which is probably from Lehigh. I think the more important question is whether the "Match" bullets are exactly the same as what you would get if you actually purchased them from Sierra bullets. We understand the "Practice" bullets are blems, but whether the "Match" bullets really are identical to the same product purchased from the original manufacturer is unknown. I would be surprised if you could get anyone to answer that question directly in an "official" capacity.

I think you're right.
I measured ABC 77 and 169s vs the Sierra versions. Both ABC versions were about .015-.020 shorter than Sierra. I did a limited sling prone shooting comparison between the ABC and Sierra 77 and didn't see a difference. For the price savings and my initial results I think I'll keep testing.

So it could be that even the "Match" bullets are not exactly the same as you would get if you purchased Sierras, for example. This is what I would expect. I don't see how it's possible someone could be selling Sierra "firsts" for that much less than the parent company/manufacturer is selling them. Again, I'm totally just speculating here, but maybe the "Match" bullets you purchased were slightly outside of Sierra's spec on the short side (OAL), but otherwise free from any of the cosmetic or other defects described above for the "Practice" bullets. I'm thinking anyone using one of the "Match" bullet versions from the parent company in competition might want to give these a try as the prices are outstanding.
