I repurposed an old plastic gun case.
I've got 13 poles of different heights, sail tails in tubes in this.
I've seen duffel bags, the bags folding camp chairs come in.

I like my orange boxes. I use them placed at the bench so as i go out setting flags i can see my bench.

here is how I carry my Dittman poles. A youth zip up rifle case. I carry my flags and all necessary extras in a Craftsman tool box

Where did you get those tool boxes and how wide are they inside?

Home Depot "Homer Box" 9.oo
8" wide, 16.5 -17.5 long below the tray holder.

Just thought ... If everybody got the orange ones I'd not know my bench looking back from down range !

Thanks guys. I found a cheap "ballistic fabric" 30 inch long photography equipment bag, and got a twofer...it holds my spotting scope too.

where did you get the range cart in your picture? @JMayo

Very nice Mike. Where can one buy those spring clips?
McMaster Carr is where I buy them.
They can be a little hard to find with their search function. Here's a link but they have different sizes and styles.

Simple enough job but space is the biggest issue on this case. I can barely fit 6 holders(for 3 poles on each side). I made a template for drilling the holes evenly spaced and just enough room on the case. Actually, it's close enough that the case sets on the clamps when the clamps expand out a bit while the pole is in the bottom holders. I use (big head) 3/16 aluminum pop rivets to attach them. Never had a problem and have sold a ton of them. The case and holders are kinda a loss leader for me. I don't quite break even on them but they are a pretty slick setup and way to store and carry both your poles and flags, all in one hand. The setup probably sells a lot of flags and pole sets for me, so I'm not worried about the small loss. Just a part of doing business. But frankly, I don't want to sell the outfitted cases alone. It can be done at home. It just takes a bit to get all the planning out right.

This is SUPER helpful! Thank you for taking the time to give me the details. I understand now and should be able to do this easily now.

I have 5 more flags and 6 more poles so will need to make another one.

Special thanks to @gunsandgunsmithing for the help. Finished my arrangement for my 4 flags set up. Pretty slick.
Thanks very much Dub, and you're very welcome for the suggestion. Looks like you took it and ran with it.

If I had one more suggestion to make, it'd be to store your sail tails in the tube they came in. It helps them keep their shape, way better. Their shape is much of what makes them do what they do, by staying rigid.
They are a litlle more trouble to care for just because of this but it's worth the effort, imo.

Your case looks great and well organized, which is the whole point, really. Great looking job on the case. I like it and it should serve you well.

Another suggestion is to buy my flags next time. ;)
