CRB brand Custom Rifle Barrels

Does anyone here have experience with CRB barrels? It looks like the company used to be Hawk Hill barrels, but was sold and renamed CRB. I'm looking at possibly trying a hunter contour barrel from them.

I had a CRB blank spun by Preece Precision and it's a shooter, they seem to be a high quality barrel.

I have seen a video of the interior of the entire length of an installed CRB barrel. I know that one cannot determine dimensions from a video, but from an appearance point of view, it was literally flawless. I have quite a bit of experience with bore scopes and barrels of all types. Apparently the owner of Hawk Hill trained them and stayed through the production of the first batch of barrels. The new owner is prominently successful in PRS. Evidently he has brought that attitude to his barrel making business.

I’ve taken a tour of there facility and gone over production of there barrels. Me and my shooting buddy both spun up one of there barrels and they are flawless. Highly recommend.

Austin Orgain bought Hawkhills equipment when they decided to close shop, Hawkhill wasn’t renamed CRB. Per their post on the sale it just became a lot more than they wanted to deal with to make it short.
