Crazy prices

On vacation in Gatlinburg, Sevierville Tn area and stopped by Bud's Gun Shop. Spotted a Rossi lever action rifle on the used rack and picked it up to examine it more closely. It was in caliber .454 Cas. and in what I would describe in very good to excellent condition, then I looked on the tag for the price........$1695.00.....Put it right down again. Don't know who they have pricing used stuff there but for sure an optimist. Not for me. Did pick up a couple boxes of 9mm hardball to add to the reserves at $13.99 a box.

I just looked at some Gunbroker sales prices. 700 varmint rifles going for sky high prices. Prices are very high as we speak IMHO.

Good JM stamped Marlins used to be $4-600. Today, they’re ridiculous. It’s as if there’s this Evil Force that’s threatening to stop all gun sales and it’s driving a lot of people crazy!

Prices of any firearm that is traditional seem to be up, anything with wood and blueing

Strange, I've typically found that they have fair pricing and even what I would consider a deal every now and then. Maybe it was a mistake? They don't even sell new for that price.
