Got a howling dog today.The whole hunt including the running to and walking from only was 15 min.I never even got a chance to call lol. 450 yds from the truck.He started howling around 150 yds away from the truck,I ran like hell to get there.As I topped the rise there he was out in a sage flat,in front of a juniper tree calling to his friends.He never even saw me walk up on him in plain sight.BOOM,THUD,down he went.150-160 yd shot.It got to dark to soon to get pics.I got the truck stuck too so I never made it back tonight with a good camera.My .223 REM does it again.A neck shot with a 55gr v-max WOW.Big entry and even bigger exit.Happy hunting.
